Rules: The Homer Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center 2023 Bay Weld Boat Raffle is open to adults 18 years of age and older. Online purchase of raffle tickets is only available to residents of Alaska. Non-Alaskan residents must purchase raffle tickets in person. HCOC Board Members and Staff are not responsible for lost
tickets either through USPS Mail fulfillment or in person. First Place Prize is a Brand New 2022 Bay Weld Boat, Model BW248, 24’ Long x 8’ Wide aluminum ocean skiff with fully enclosed walk around cabin, Yamaha 150 hp four stroke outboard motor from South Peninsula Power Sports, and a Kokopelli aluminum trailer. Total boat value, $123,000. The Homer Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center will pay Federal taxes that are required to be withheld per IRS regulations estimated at $38,843.40.
Winner is responsible for all other fees such as state taxes, registration, shipping and delivery fees. Winner will have the option of taking a cash prize of $25,000 Net in lieu of the Brand New 2022 Bay Weld Boat. 3,900 raffle tickets will be sold. Each ticket has a 1 in 3,900 chance of winning.
Drawing will take place on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 5:30 PM or earlier if the 3,900 tickets are sold prior to September 2, 2023.
Drawing will be held at the Homer Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center office at 201 Sterling Highway, Homer, AK 99603. Winners need not be present to win. AK Gaming Permit #599.
